Soften The Divide Between Inside and Out with Locust Floral.

At Locust, we feel that a symbiotic relationship between our land and practice is vital to the distinction and beauty of our work –our ethos drives our vision and designs. We are sensitive and passionate with how we source and forage all of our floral material. We work closely with small-scale farms and maintain ethical and sustainable practices. The materials we source are dictated by nature, seasonality, and locality. We do our best to work in collaboration with nature, rather than against it, showcasing the material of the very moment and bringing the outside in; highlighting the colors, textures and character of our shared home –this land. This makes our work bespoke and personal to each space, season, time and place, which is all carefully crafted and curated for our individual clients.

Because of this, we cannot guarantee specific floral varieties, nor commit to exact replications –with a spirit of flexibility and open mindedness we pledge to crafting a memorable, unique, and original experience for your event. We focus on unions, events, installations, and commercial projects, rather than one- off bouquets or deliveries. This is because we feel that we are better able to express concepts and alter environments with large scale projects; our goal is to submerge our viewers. We long to transform space and evoke curiosity from our designs, we feel that that this allows us to connect our viewer more deeply and intimately with the natural world.

We work hard to ensure that our designs are made foam-free, are never spray painted, and are as organically dictated as possible. After events, materials are thoughtfully composted, donated, or recycled to reduce the waste footprint of our business. We deeply encourage every client to think about these convictions alongside us. Thank you for your interest in working with us. We look forward to hearing all about your event.
